‘Fair Go Bro'

Having a famous brother can sometimes be an advantage, but it is not necessarily the case. As a part of a new brand campaign called ‘Fair Go Bro’, created by Euro RSCG and One Green Bean, Virgin Mobile Australia has made an rather unusual move by promoting Doug Pitt, the brother of famous Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, as an actual celebrity.

Set to last until October, the campaign will have three phases, the main pillar of it being a website which has a simple premise – to get Facebook ‘likes’ from consumers, enabling Doug to become more famous. The first step in doing so is a new MTV Cribs-styled video called ‘Meet Doug Pitt, the second most famous Pitt in his family’:

NAB: The Honesty Experiments

Absolutely amazing!

Here’s a nice little experiential campaign from Australian bank NAB. They launched their new Honesty Shouldn’t Go Unrewarded piece with a real time stunt that saw honest passersby thanked in real time for returning lost objects.
The stunt was set in a mall where shoppers were given the opportunity to return lost property. After returning the object, stunned shoppers began to see themselves on pop up on posters, tv screens and even on the top of a cake.

This is how the bank decided to showcase the notion of honesty.

This is not the first amazing thing from National bank Australia! Last year they got a Grand Prix in PR in Cannes for the 'Break up' campaign. You can check it below!

Meme Myself and I - meowbook and slating

Cadbury has entered the second phase of the Cadbury Boosted Inspiration Series campaign, which runs in partnership with MTV Australia. This stage includes a three-part documentary series entitled ‘Meme Myself and I.’

Cadbury’s Boosted Inspiration campaign celebrates people who “seek to start stuff” and each video is a demonstration of one such person. The first installment of the fun series called ‘Meowbook’ features Thomas Mai, a man who intends to launch a social networking site for cats.

Cannes Film Lions 2012

Grand Prix

Back to the Start
Back to the Start depicts the life of a farmer as he slowly turns his family farm into an industrial animal factory before seeing the errors of his ways and opting for a more sustainable future. The soundtrack of the short film is Coldplay's haunting classic 'The Scientist' as performed by country music legend Willie Nelson. Both the film and the soundtrack were commissioned by Chipotle to emphasize the importance of developing a sustainable food system.

LYNX Anarchy: The World’s First Invisible Ad

Lynx produce some seriously innovative digital work the world over (AXE in other countries) and probably none more so than this campaign that’s just launched in Australia, with the world’s first invisible ad installation using special LCD screens that can only been seen with polarised lenses.
People passing by a street in Sydney were handed polarised glasses which unlocked the content of the invisible screens, upon which the visuals couldn’t be seen by the naked eye. And in typical Lynx fashion, the content was out there, with couples making out and random dogs swimming in a room of water! Created by our friends at Soap Creative.
